David Bradford
DAVID BRADFORD is a 12th generation direct descendant of Plymouth Governor William Bradford and a life member of the Delaware Mayflower Society where he has served 22 years in sundry board positions including Newsletter editor, Education Chair, and two-terms as Governor. David is currently a member of the Education Committee of the General Society of Mayflower Descendents and serves on the executive board of the Plymouth Rock Foundation in Plymouth, MA.
Since 2013 David has been portraying Plymouth Governor William Bradford and sharing his first-hand account of Pilgrim history with schools, senior centers, and historical societies in DE, PA, and MD. In 2021 he portrayed Gov. Bradford at the American Pilgrimage 400 celebration and in 2023 delivered the keynote speech at the 135th Anniversary celebration of the National Forefathers Monument in Plymouth, MA.
Common to each and central to the Bradford LLC mission is to present (in Gov Bradford’s own words) excerpts from Of Plimoth Plantation that provide attendees with an accurate and compelling narrative of the pilgrim’s experience. David’s unique presentations bring to life Plymouth Governor William Bradford’s first-person account of pilgrim history in a 17th Century dialect with period-correct clothing and accoutrements.
Aaron Bradford
For over 25 years, AARON BRADFORD has shared a passion for helping others to personally encounter stories of liberty in American history in a multitude of means and settings. Aaron graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in History Education. He served full time at Pamplin Historical Park right outside of Petersburg, VA, and the Coastal Heritage Society in Savannah, GA. He currently is a full time Upper School History and Literature Teacher at Dayspring Christian Academy outside of Lancaster, PA. The school uses America’s historic method of education, known as the Principle Approach. He continues service on the Board of the Delaware Mayflower Society and Plymouth Rock Foundation.
Aaron has marched, drilled, and drummed history to life in inspiring and unforgettable ways. He has primarily portrayed Pilgrims, British Regulars, Colonists, Patriots, War of 1812 Soldiers, and Union and Confederate Soldiers while directing historical interpretation at sites and serving in several living history units.
